The brief was to create a low maintenance home of traditional construction, with the couple's retirement in mind. Part open plan and a full height lounge would I thought add interest.

Graham and Carol say... In the face of tough opposition this has to be our favourite, simply because we cannot find fault. It sits beautifully on the plot and externally is appealing and in keeping with the area.

The entrance opens into a spacious hall with all parts of the house accessible from here and includes a coats cupboard.

The lounge with cathedral ceiling, large fireplace and window seat is more than we had every imagined. Beverley's followed our brief closely and been innovative and imaginative. We couldn't have asked for more!
